    Cool, I just ordered a 550D thanks to your blog =) Found your blog since I was using a Casio Exilim EX-F1.

    Here's what I ordered:
    Canon Kiss X4 w/ 18-55mm Kit
    Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Mk II
    Transcend 8GB Class 10
    Kenko 58mm ND8 Pro-1D filter

    By the way, are you going to write about those macro tubes that you got VS macro lens?
    Also, do you have/use an external flash for photos? If not, why? Which one would you recommend?

    The Canon is more than GREAT! I really love this camera. The Casio was cool and the handling was nice, but you will be surprized by the image quality of your new DSLR!

    I will post a little macro comparison, it's already planned ;) And I also plan to buy a flash, but I don't know which one. Original Canon equipment is expensive so maybe I'll check out some aftermarket flashes on ebay. But I have to make some research first.

    I did more video than photo so far, so I didn't need a flash that much. My LED video light was more important to me.
