jonni's DIY steadycam - 1st test flight

This is the first real test flight with my DIY steadycam. The ground was frozen so it was hard to walk. Also, I'm not a trained steadycam operator but I think the result isn't too bad. I'll practice a little bit and upload another video soon.

Check the posts below for more information on the steadycam.

Hope you like it,
jonni

  3. Hello Jonni!!

I´m Marcus from South Brazil, and I also have a Canon 550D. Next year I´m going on a trip trough Europe and I´d like to get a steadycam to make some films during the trip.
But it is impossible to buy out here, too expensive. And all the others, from USA are too big.
So, is any possibility of selling your product?

Could you please reply me on my email? bertholdmarcus@hotmail.com

    Thank´s a lot.

    Marcus

  4. Hi Jonni,

    Im Tristan from England, UK.

Just seen your "How To" video on building a Steadicam, spent weeks, days and hours looking a simple, easy home made one (No Drilling or Machining) so was wondering where i could get the pieces that you used or any equivalent to them other here in the UK.

    My Email address is tristanmayer@me.com.
